When the auction for a vehicle has ended, you as the seller decide which buyer you want to sell the vehicle to. This is called allocating a vehicle.
By allocating a vehicle, you accept the bid from the selected buyer and start the next steps in the sales process.
When can I allocate a vehicle?
A vehicle can be allocated when:
The auction has ended.
One or more bids have been received.
You have selected a suitable bid.
You decide which bid to accept and which buyer to sell the vehicle to.
How do I allocate a vehicle?
Follow the steps below:
Open the relevant vehicle dossier.
Review the bids received.
Select the bid you want to accept.
Click the action button to allocate the vehicle.
Confirm your choice.
After allocation, the buyer is notified and the vehicle proceeds to the next steps in the sales process.
What should I consider when choosing a bid?
In addition to the highest bid, you can also consider:
The reliability of the buyer.
The conditions regarding transport and processing.
Previous cooperation with the buyer.
How quickly the transaction can be completed.
The most suitable bid is not always simply the highest bid, but may also be the bid that allows the entire sales process to proceed smoothly.
Can I offer a vehicle again if I do not want to allocate it?
If you have not received a suitable bid, you can choose not to allocate the vehicle. Depending on the situation, you may be able to offer the vehicle again or choose a different sales strategy.
What happens after allocation?
After allocation, the further processing of the sale begins. The buyer receives the necessary information and the vehicle proceeds through the sales process, including payment, transport and transfer.
