A complete and honest damage report helps buyers make a good assessment of the vehicle. By clearly recording damage, you prevent questions afterwards and increase confidence in your vehicle offering.
Step 1: Open the vehicle dossier
Go to the vehicle for which you want to register damage or a claim and open the vehicle dossier.
Step 2: Add the damage
Go to the Damage section and add a new damage item.
Provide as much detail as possible, including:
The location of the damage on the vehicle.
The type of damage, such as a scratch, dent or window damage.
A clear description of the damage.
Any additional comments.
Step 3: Add clear photos
Support each damage item with clear photos.
For the best results, we recommend:
Adding both overview photos and detailed photos.
Taking photos in sufficient daylight.
Photographing the damage from multiple angles.
The more clearly the damage is recorded, the better buyers can assess the condition of the vehicle.
Step 4: Check the damage report
Check that all damage has been recorded correctly before offering the vehicle.
A complete damage report prevents surprises during the sales process and contributes to a transparent vehicle presentation.
