Article about receiving bids after entering the book value
Yes, you can still receive bids after entering the book value.
The book value is only visible to you as the seller and is not shared with potential buyers. This means that buyers can still place bids on your vehicle.
What happens when I enter the book value?
When you enter the book value:
The vehicle remains available for bids.
Buyers can still place bids.
As the seller, you can view and compare the bids you receive with your internal value.
The book value is intended as an internal reference to help you assess bids and understand the difference between the bids received and the internal value of the vehicle.
When will I no longer receive bids?
Once you have allocated the vehicle to a buyer, it is no longer possible to receive new bids.
The vehicle will then proceed to the next steps in the sales process.
Tip
Use the book value as a tool when assessing bids. A complete vehicle dossier with clear photos, a good description and transparent information helps create confidence among buyers and increases the chance of a successful sale.
