When a vehicle has been released, the release document is added to the vehicle dossier. This document confirms that the vehicle has been transferred and is no longer registered in the name of the previous owner.
The release document becomes available once the buyer has added it to the vehicle dossier. The document is visible when the vehicle has reached the 'Transport' status.
Where can I find the release document?
Follow the steps below:
Open the relevant vehicle dossier.
Go to Documents on the left-hand side below the vehicle details.
Find the file named:
registration_number_make_model_indemnificationDownload and open the document.
The release document is then available to view or download.
When can I see the release document?
The release document only becomes visible after:
The buyer has released the vehicle.
The release document has been added to the vehicle dossier.
The vehicle has reached the 'Transport' status.
The release document is not there. What now?
First, check whether the vehicle has the correct status and whether the buyer has already added the release document.
Still unable to find the release document? Please contact the Customer Success team and provide:
The registration number of the vehicle.
The CarCollect ID.
The current status of the vehicle.
