Within CarCollect, you can upload different types of files, such as vehicle photos, documents and other attachments. To ensure that files are processed correctly, CarCollect supports various file types.
Supported file types
Images
For vehicle photos, CarCollect supports the following file types:
JPG / JPEG
PNG
We recommend uploading images in JPG format for optimal display and fast processing.
Documents
For documents, CarCollect supports, among others:
PDF
Word files (.doc / .docx)
Excel files (.xls / .xlsx)
For official documents, we recommend using PDF files where possible to ensure that the formatting is preserved.
Tips for uploading files
For fast and correct processing, we recommend:
Use clear file names, for example:
invoice_registration.pdf.Upload images of sufficient quality.
Check that documents are fully readable before adding them.
Avoid extremely large files, as these can slow down the upload process.
